Alford Applauds USAF Decision Approving Whiteman Air Force Base as Scond Location for the B-21 Raider

WASHINGTON – This week, Congressman Mark Alford (MO-04), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, applauded news that Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall has approved Whiteman Air Force Base as the second location for the B-21 Stealth Bomber.

“The B-21 will be the backbone of our bomber force and a key tool of deterrence across the globe. We have been working hard to ensure that the B-21 Raider comes to Whiteman Air Force Base, and we’re so proud to hear that Secretary Kendall has approved Whiteman as the second location for the B-21 stealth bomber. This is huge news for Missouri’s Fourth District and for all the patriotic men and women serving at Whiteman,” said Congressman Alford.
