Washington, DC – Earlier today, as first reported by Fox News, Congressman Alford introduced the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) Dead on Arrival (DOA) Act. This bill would eliminate all DEI programs across the federal government.

This legislation comes on the heels of Democrats introducing legislation to officially codify DEI curriculum in the federal government.

The bill was co-sponsored by the following Representatives (4).

·       Duncan (SC-03)

Congressman Alford issued the following statement:

“As a nation, we should place our focus on our commonality and the things that unite us. We certainly should not allow rotten initiatives such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs to grow within our government.

That is exactly why I am introducing legislation to prevent any federal agency from instituting DEI in their trainings. My colleagues and I on the Armed Services Committee have worked tirelessly to ensure these curriculums are eliminated from our military. Now, it is time to take it a step further and eliminate DEI across the federal government.”
