Alford Votes to Support Trump, Keep America Open for Business

Today, Congressman Mark Alford (MO-04), a member of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1968, the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025 to fund the federal government through September 30, 2025.

This legislation provides junior enlisted service members with their largest pay raise in forty years, while freezing other spending at current levels. At the same time, it enhances the Trump Administration’s ability to secure our borders and empowers DOGE to continue identifying and eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse.
