Hey folks, my team and I are hard at work for you.
This month, we are back home in the district meeting with constituents! We wanted to take this time to let you know about all the things we are working on to support Missouri's Fourth Congressional District!

August is a time for Members of Congress to return to their districts and spend time with their constituents. Typically, in this section, we cover what's going on in Washington. Today, we're focusing on what's happening in the district. First, our casework team has been hard at work supporting constituents who need help with a federal agency. Over the last few weeks, our team has returned over $700,000 to the hardworking people of Missouri's 4th Congressional District, bringing the total to over $2 million since the start of this Congress.
Serving the people of #MO04 is our top priority, and every dollar we recover makes a real difference in the lives of our constituents. We are always working for you.
We also had an incredible time at the Missouri State Fair, seeing so many familiar friends, faces, and constituents. It is an honor to have Sedalia and the State Fair right here in our district. There is so much happening in Sedalia, and being at the State Fair offers folks a wonderful opportunity to enjoy what makes Missouri great.
I recently sat down with Sedalia's mayor, police chief, and prosecuting attorney to discuss the fentanyl crisis and their important efforts to crack down on fentanyl dealers. We featured them on our podcast—give it a listen.

Last week, we completed an incredible Town Hall tour across the 4th District, making 16 stops. We visited small businesses, farms, a high school, and engaged with the wonderful people of our great district and state. We’ll dive more into that in this newsletter—truly an incredible August in the district!

Over the past couple of weeks, we've been all across Missouri’s Fourth District. Last week, specifically, we hosted a series of town halls throughout the District. I want to take a moment to explain why I believe it’s so important to hold these town halls.
I was sent to Washington to work for the people I represent – the constituents of Missouri’s Fourth Congressional District. You, the ones reading this, are the stockholders that I am elected to serve, and it is my duty and responsibility as your elected representative to serve and work for each of you. That means listening to you, showing up, and engaging with you. These town halls give us a great opportunity to hear directly from you—your concerns, your questions, your ideas, and the issues you may be facing. Our job is to respond to that, assist you in any way we can, and work to solve your problems. That’s what we’re here to do. We are here to work for you.
Last week, we made over 16 stops throughout our district and hosted four town halls. It was great to visit with the small businesses that are the fabric of America and that are helping drive economic growth right here at home. We visited coffee shops, clothing stores, farms, a high school, and even a barber shop—all with the intent to listen, learn, and engage with you. It truly was a privilege and an honor to go on this Town Hall Tour and be among the greatest people in the country.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming out and sharing your thoughts. I look forward to seeing you next year on our Town Hall Tour!
We are always here, working for you, whether it’s through our weekly Mondays with Mark, where you can meet me to ask questions, or at various events in the district. We are constantly present, not just during the Town Hall Tour. We are here, working for you.
Thank you and God Bless.

Warsaw High School Congressional Pep Rally
A highlight of the Town Hall Tour was our visit to Warsaw High School. We had the opportunity to visit and speak with the students, sharing more about what our congressional office is doing and how they can get involved at the congressional level.
Whether it’s interning in our office, participating in our congressional speech competition, applying to a service academy, or joining the congressional art competition, there are many ways for young people to engage. It was an honor and privilege to speak with them and have some fun.
I wish all the students at Warsaw High School a successful and healthy school year. Watch here.
