This week in DC, the DOGE team—led by Elon Musk—has been hard at work, continuing their efforts to root out waste, fraud, and abuse that has plagued the federal government for far too long.
Democrats are worried the gravy train of taxpayer dollars being funneled to left wing causes is over—because it is. So, they’ve gone into mass hysteria with lies and misinformation about the work DOGE is doing. We want to set the record straight.
Elon Musk is one of the greatest entrepreneurs this century. Our democratically elected president ran on using Elon’s superior intellect to cut wasteful spending—and won in a landslide. That’s exactly what Elon and DOGE are doing. Promises made, promises kept.
The American people are largely supportive of the Trump Administration’s work so far this year. According to a recent CBS News poll, a majority of Americans support the job President Trump has done. In the same poll, a whopping seventy percent of Americans said he is doing exactly what he promised in his campaign.
That’s why it’s so absurd that Democrats and the mainstream media are lying about Elon, including potential conflicts of interests. In reality, President Trump has stated he will not allow conflicts, and Elon himself has committed to recusing himself from potential conflicts. DOGE has been the most transparent government initiative ever, regularly posting updates on X, formerly known as Twitter, and its website.
Democrats and the media have also tried to whip the public into a panic about DOGE’s access to data. Waste, fraud, and abuse have been deeply entrenched in our broken system for far too long. It takes access to the system to identify and fix it. DOGE will continue to shine a light on the fraud they uncover because the American people deserve to know what their government has been wasting their hard-earned tax dollars on. The patriots working on the DOGE team are doing so in full compliance with federal law, appropriate security clearances, and as employees of the relevant agencies, not as outside advisors.
DOGE has been incredibly successful in just a short time. Under President Trump’s leadership, they’ve already identified and cut $55 BILLION in wasteful spending. That’s your hard-earned money essentially being stolen by rogue bureaucrats.
Let’s go through some of the highlights. So far, DOGE has:
- Demanded the “clawback” of $59 million sent by rogue FEMA staff in early February to house illegal immigrants in high-end New York City hotels.
- Cancelled 29 DEI contracts at the Department of Education saving $101 million.
- Canceled twenty consulting contracts, focused on “Strategic communication” and “executive coaching,” saving $26 million.
- Cancelled twenty-two contracts for underutilized building leases, saving the government $44.6 million.
- Cancelled 104 DEI related contracts, saving the government more than $1 billion.
That’s real savings for the American taxpayer. No wonder Democrats are losing their minds—they hate it when President Trump is successful on behalf of the American people. Just remember, when you hear Democrats claim they’re protecting our democracy from DOGE—what they really mean is they are protecting the rogue bureaucracy—at your expense.
